Price: Texas takes a stand against synthetic drugs

November 7, 2015
Amarillo Globe - News

When one of today’s most complicated drug problems manifests itself in horrible ways in our Panhandle community, I think we must aggressively eradicate it. Synthetic drugs are looming larger as a greater danger to our children and young adults than methamphetamines, heroin or marijuana.

Thank You

I am very grateful for the tremendous support received in this general election campaign. I thank all my constituents who expressed their confidence in my efforts at the Texas Capitol by voting for me. I also thank all my supporters who placed signs in their yards, block-walked, made telephone calls, and contributed financially to our campaign. Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank my family, especially my wife and children, for their love, encouragement, and understanding throughout this campaign season.

Much was accomplished last session and much remains to be done. I will continue to work with my colleagues to seek common sense solutions to the challenges facing Texas. We did that when we passed historic water legislation last session. I’m confident we can do it again when addressing issues related to public school finance, strengthening health care, improving the safety of our state roads, keeping our energy sector strong, and promoting policies that continue to encourage job growth.

It is an honor to continue to represent the hardworking citizens of House District 87 in the Texas House of Representatives. I promise that I, along with my capable staff, will continue to work diligently on your behalf every day.

Thanks very much.

God Bless Texas,
